Director : Rodrigo Cortés

Main Cast: Ryan Reynolds, Robert Paterson (vocals), José Luis García Pérez (vocals), Stephen Tobolowsky (vocals), Samantha Mathis (vocals). ---
Argument: Paul Conroy, parent and civilian contractor in Iraq, wake up buried alive in an old coffin wood. Without knowing who has put it there, much less why, his only chance to escape his agonizing nightmare is a mobile phone.
poor coverage, lack of battery and lack of oxygen are the worst obstacles in a life or death race against time: Paul only has 90 minutes to achieve their rescue . ---
My opinion: surprising English film, directed by enthusiastically Rodrigo Cortés, whose greatest virtue of simply having the courage to believe in it, given the obvious dangers it might raise.
And, make a film with just an interpreter, it seems doomed to disaster but it seems likely that viewers would be bored of it pretty. Well it is not.
No, not the masterpiece that I've read out there, because, when recurrent theme, being only the situation, but supplemented with successive phone calls (well, on the phone I mean), tend to be somewhat repetitive, simply impossible to avoid.
But it is entertaining and even exciting, with a voltage achieved by increasing the camera moves inside the small box where the action unfolds, and the excellent composition of Ryan Reynolds , yet a tour de force.
Moreover, the end is nothing short of memorable, superbly clautrofóbico closing argument.
In short, an exercise arriegado could have degenerated into a disaster and yet leaves a good taste .
