Director : Achero Mañas
--- Main Cast : Juan Diego Botto , Lucía Fernández, José Luis Gómez, Alberto Jimenez, Paloma Lorena, Najwa Nimri. Francisco Olmo, Anne Smiley, Ana Wagener, Alfredo Alba . ---
Argument: Velasco's family, consisting of Leo, Alicia and her daughter Dafne, four years old, lives a quiet life in the city of Madrid. Alicia
is usually the person responsible for the care and education for girls.
During the Christmas holidays Alicia died unexpectedly after a seizure, leaving her husband alone with his daughter.
Leo, conservative and homophobic man, take care small as best you can. Dafne
very affected by the absence of his mother, continually claim the mother figure.
Leo, with the sole aim of seeking happiness of Daphne will be able to give himself, struggling with their own prejudices, to the point of losing their own identity . ---
My comment : Personal film Achero Manas, who, after years without directing, sets up a unique story, very peculiar, under his imprint vital.
I have to say first that I liked, but not convinced.
This is an interesting and entertaining film, however, ends not stop halfway round and several of the proposals outlined.
Well played, with few characters we can see the great pain of two people who in the absence of most wanted. But however, may fail to move as necessary, as being nothing cold, it does everything is strange.
Some characters are glimpsed only and may not be very credible narrated everything we say. Can occur in reality something like what we are told, but it is undeniable that this is not common.
not disappoint, but it may look with some distance given the strangeness of the proposal . But in any case, of course, is respectable .
