The Lugo Marta Rivera de la Cruz signs two new books, both dedicated to eight women who have succeeded, "taking into account - noted the author - having something you can count on your life so that you can work in class, "because both texts are aimed at children and adolescents .
Two other criteria used by Rivera de la Cruz to select the protagonists have been the geographical and professional, in order to represent different places and areas.
The women chosen are the Countess of Benavente (patron of Goya), Mary Guerrero (theatrical promoter), Mary Miller (author of the dictionary of Castilian that bears his name, and promoter of libraries and reading), Clara Campoamor (first woman MP), Rosalia de Castro (writer), Matilde Montoya (medical), María Zambrano (key figure in the history of thought) and Anais Napoleon (a pioneer of photography in Spain).
