WINTER 'S BONE (USA, 2010) Drama, Thriller. Average: 7.50
Director: Debra Granik
--- Main Cast: Jennifer Lawrence. Isaiah Stone, Ashlee Thompson. Valerie Richards, Shelley Waggener, Garret Dillahunt
--- Plot: Ree Dolly is a 17-year-old has to take care of his family in a situation of extreme economic hardship.
But worse than his father, after leaving prison on parole, mysteriously disappears, which further exacerbates the problems of the family. Finding
to Ree Dolly becomes a vital question. ---
My comment: Excellent second work behind the scenes of Debra Granik, who shelled a tough story where you can see his guts to a part of the United States of America where glamor, glitz and stars are conspicuous by their absence, to make way for the daily drama humans, popularly called "white trash", where the family code of silence is common.
One thing is to depart the protagonist of the story, a girl 17 years old, determined and courageous acts of heroism not only by family responsibilities to need a money to save his people and possessions.
Using a photograph ocher highlights the paucity of hard and deep landscapes of Missouri, with many decorative elements that place us at a time and place, Granik gets convince and make us share the sorrows of the heroine, faced with thunderous silence and short dialogues, brief but very intense. Bright
interpretations where they shine, not only the excellent actor, but "side" of life, here get the best characters of his eventful career.
won numerous awards (and those that fall from to write this), 'Winter' s bone "is reaffirmed in its evidene imperfection, like a breath of fresh air, film copyright idenpendiente first category, equipped with intrigue and suspense and mixed genres without belonging entirely to one of them.
